This policy describes processing related to innovate-community.com. It is based on the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP). Other rules, including the EU GDPR, may apply depending on the individual and context.
1. Data controller
The website is operated by:
Yann Nasel, operator of Innovate Community
Pré du Grenier-d'Avau
1649 Pont-la-Ville
Switzerland
Data protection contact: info@innovate-community.com.
2. Data we process
Website visits
When you access the website, the hosting server may record technical data such as your IP address, date and time, requested page, browser, operating system and referring page. This data is used for operation, security and diagnostics.
Contact and correspondence
When you contact us by email, we process the information you provide, such as your name, email address, organisation and message. Contact is currently handled directly through info@innovate-community.com. The website does not retain a copy of the message content in a database.
Language preference
Your FR, EN or DE choice is stored in your browser’s local storage under the key ic-lang. It remains on your device until deleted.
External content and services
The fonts and images used by the pages are served locally from the website. No analytics tool, embedded social network, third-party media player or advertising content is loaded automatically in the current version. When you follow a link to a partner website, that third party then applies its own privacy rules.
3. Purposes and grounds
Data is processed to:
- provide, secure and improve the website;
- answer enquiries and prepare or perform a business relationship;
- remember the selected language;
- display requested media and resources.
Depending on the processing, we rely on the need to provide the service, pre-contractual or contractual steps, our legitimate interests in operating a reliable website and responding to enquiries, and consent where required.
4. Providers and recipients
We do not sell personal data. It may be accessible to those responsible for the website and to providers needed for its operation.
Some providers may process data outside Switzerland. Where this occurs, the transfer must rely on a country recognised as providing adequate protection or on appropriate safeguards, such as contractual clauses, subject to legal exceptions.
5. Retention
Data is kept only for as long as necessary for the relevant purpose and is then deleted or anonymised, unless a legal retention requirement applies. Correspondence may be retained for the period needed to handle the enquiry and meet commercial or legal obligations.
Server logs are retained by the hosting provider for the period needed for security, diagnostics and compliance with its contractual or legal obligations. The language preference remains in the browser until you clear the website data.
6. Your rights
Within the limits of applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, delivery or transfer of your data, restrict processing or object to it. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent for the future.
Send requests to info@innovate-community.com. Proof of identity may be requested. You may also contact the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner.
7. Security
Reasonable technical and organisational measures are used to protect data against unauthorised access, loss or alteration. However, no Internet-connected system can guarantee absolute security.
8. Changes
This policy may be updated when the website, providers or legal requirements change. The version published on this page is the current version; its update date appears at the top.
